Desperado's Coed Drill

The Desperado's Mounted Drill Team was formed in 1997 and is open to both men and women riders of western discipline. The team has an average of 16 members and new members are accepted October through April only. New members are voted on by the team after a six week try-out period.
The Desperado's ride performance and competitions and as a "baby team" they have enjoyed the welcome they have received at competitions.
In 1998 and 1999 placed first in the open division at the Oregon Women's Drill Team Association State Meet but would like you to know they were the only team entered in that division. In 1998 and 1999 placed third in a field of eight competing teams at the Oregon State Fair and took second place in the Lane County Fair Drill Team Competition.
